Our first tournament, sponsored by R. J. Marine Sales Inc., had 48 teams
show up for a tough windy day of trying to fish. The first place ream of
BYLOTAS / PACHOLEC  brought 18.66 pounds to the scale plus the
Lunker of the tournament weighing in @ 5.48lbs. The second place team
WERNER / PARK   weighed in with 14.06 pounds. The third place team
HOUMAN / KIZER weighed in with 12.75 lbs. In all 152 fish were weighed
in for 227.7 lbs which included 45 large mouth.

June 18th brought us back to the Pack for our first Friday Night Tournament.
41 teams showed up for a better night on the Pack as far as the weather was
concerned. The bite was still tough for most teams. 124 fish were weighed in
for a total of 180.01lbs., 9 of which were largemouths. The first place team of
KULAVICH & ROBINSON placed with 13.63lbs. and seem to be continuing
their momentum from the end of last season. The HAFTL'S  came in second
with 13.23lbs. The team of BRUNZA & OLEJNIK  took 3rd with12.48lbs.
The Lunker of the Day was caught by the team of  RHIN & MANG  and
weighed in @ 4.70lbs.
 

June 27th  Gouldsboro

The Gouldsboro tournament brought 36 teams out to fish.  180 bass were caught
for a totalof  214.59 lbs. The first place team  The LAMBERTON'S
weighed in 8 fish for a total of12.45lbs. This bag of fish included the Lunker
of the tournament and weighed 3.92lbs. The second place team of 
DIEHL  &  BEERS  also caught 8 fish for a total of 11.82lbs.
and the 3rd place team of  HOUMAN  &  ROBINSON  caught 8 fish for a
total of 11.65lbs.

35 teams showed up for PASA's 2nd night tournament. It was a tough
night and  the temperature for a usual July night tournament was  cold and damp.
With the cold front coming in a few teams managed to catch limits. The team of
MICAN & HALL  weighed in 10.30lbs to takefirst place. The 2nd place
 team of GIAMBRUNO & POSTER weighed in with 9.57lbs and the3rd
place team  The MORAN's placed with 9.42lbs. The lunker was
caught by GILPIN & SMITHand weighed 3.91lbs.   116 bass were caught
weighing a total of 164.98lbs. including 15 largemouth.

Jerry's first striper weighed over 6lbs. It was caught on
a jig.

July 25th  Lake Henry

27 boats showed up for PASA's Henry tournament. Of the 27;  24 teams brought
bass to the scale. When everything was done, only 80 fish were weighed in for
a total of 83.55lbs..  The AUSTIN's came in first with 9.02lbs. The team of
Frank and Gene REMPE came in 2nd with 8.41lbs. and the team of  GOODRICH&  YELLAND  came in 3rd with 7.17lbs.  This year's Lake
Henry tournament allowed for 5 places going to our championship. The 4th place
was taken by PITTSMAN  & CICHOCKI who weighed in with 5.62lbs.
and 5th place was won by the team of KOVALESKI & ZEILER who
brought 5.21lbs  to the scale.  The lunker was caught by  the team of
 PIORKOWSKI  &  WOJCIL  and weighed 1.93lbs.

This night tournament weather wise was a pretty good night. The wind was light
and there was no rain; imagine that. We had 33 teams bring in 170 fish to the
PASA scales for a total of 265.26lbs.. The first place team of  KULAVICH &
ROBINSON weighed in with 16.98lbs and had the lunker of the tournament
weighing6.60lbs..  The second place team of RHIN & BRODY weighed in
with 16.11lbs and the 3rd place team MORAN's   had 13.50lbs..

26 teams showed up for our last night tournament. It turned out to be the worst
weather wehad for the entire season. But,...throughout the rain and lightning the
biggest bass in 13 seasonswas caught by Sam Houman and weighed in
@ 7.64lbs. If  I remember correctly,  I think Sam toldme it was his birthday.
Well ....HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMY!!  The first place team of
Hall / Mican brought 17.33lbs to PASA's scale. The second place team of
Houman / Kizer weighed in with 15.39lbs.. The third place team of
Amberg / Wright weighed in with14.03lbs.133 bass were weighed in for a
total of 220.77lbs.

August 29th  Prompton Dam

24 teams fished Prompton for a total of 91 bass, weighing 134.47lbs. The first
place team of MICAN & HALL  weighed in with 14.38lbs. The 2nd place
team came to PASA's scale with12.81lbs. which included the Lunker of the
 day which weighed 4.84lbs. The second place was  JONES & PRAFKE.
The third place team of  WARNER & PARK brought 11.01lbs tothe scale.
The 4th place team of SULLA & FERRETT weighed in with 9.53lbs. and
the 5thplace team of MICAN & SWANSON weighed in with 8.30lbs.

BROS. weighed in with 13.03lbs. and the 4th place team of PITTSMAN & CICHOCKI weighed in with 12.43lbs.  THE SCERBO BROS. also had theLUNKER of theday weighing in @ 3.40lbs.

The championship winners were Fred Pittsman and Ray Cichocki, who brought
15.97lbsto PASA's scale. The second place team of Bylotas & Pacholec weighed
in with 14.49lbs.The third place team of Morgan & Antoniacci weighed in with 12.16lbs.
Fourth place went to Werner & Park with 11.98lbs. and 5th place went to Sulla & Ferrett
who weighed inwith 11.92lbs. The Lunker was caught by the Scerbo Brothers and weighed
4.48lbs.
